The Trial & Wedding Day
All makeup trials are done in our Manhattan, NY makeup studio conveniently located next to grand central station. During the makeup trial, the artist will have a brief consultation with you before the trial begins to get to know you better and discuss any concerns you may have and what your comfort level/style of makeup is. Feel free to show us any makeup inspiration pictures that you are drawn to. We love seeing photos of your wedding dress and any other details from your wedding day that you can share with us to get an overall sense of your vision and style!
The artist will work with you and suggest coordinating beauty products and colors that work best with your skin tone , face and eye shape to create an individualized look ( no cooke cutter looks here) that not only compliments your features but enhances your natural beauty. Trials generally take about an hour and half and are done in our studio with pro natural daylight for a precise application so you can get a true feel for what you will look like on your wedding day.
Our studio is fully secured for your safety with doorman and front desk attendant. Our receptionist will great you upon arrival and escort you to the makeup studio for your trial. There is an icon parking garage located next door and a Starbucks coffee just outside the studio. Convenient to all forms of transportation including NYC Subway & Metro North trains.
THE TRIAL SESSION:
Stacie Ford Beauty Co. artists will happily travel to your desired location of
hotel, wedding venue or private estate for the wedding day makeup prep. Each artist comes prepared with a photo and list of what they used on you during the trial to effortlessly recreate the look for you again. If you have any special requests or tweaks that need to be made regarding your makeup , no problem, just consult with the artist before your makeup starts. If you would like to add on touch ups to get you though photos or beyond, please inquire for day or hourly package rates.

Giorgio Armani, Charlotte Tilbury, Laura Mercier, Merit Beauty, Rare Beauty, Ilia Makeup, Hourglass, Westman Atelier, and Tom Ford are just a few of the many brands we keep stocked in our kits!
As working professional makeup artists, we are constantly being exposed to the latest trends in beauty and fashion . All artists on the SFB Co. team are extremely versatile and can do virtually any look requested. Let us know what style of makeup inspires you!
Yes we do, and they are included in every application for the bride and bridal party without any additional charges. We offer a wide variety of fun styles to choose from!
We believe doing a trial is always a good idea, as it gives the client and the artist a chance to meet and experiment, which will ultimately help determine what will look best on your wedding day. However, it's not mandatory.
We require a signed agreement and deposit to book and secure the date. The deposit is applied to the total cost.
You usually want to start searching for a makeup artist anywhere from 6 to 12 months prior to your wedding date. Our team tends to get booked up a year in advance, so we strongly suggest getting in touch ASAP if you're interested in working with us!
Yes! We’ve traveled as far as Bali for work. Destination weddings and photoshoots are something we specialize in. Travel fees depend on the location and distance.
A makeup trial usually takes about an hour and a half. This is when the client and artist meet to discuss the details of your wedding day look and do the makeup application to see what works best for the big day!
Before the trial starts, you'll have a brief consultation with our artist so they can get to know you and discuss the desired style of makeup for your wedding day. This is when you can show the artist any makeup looks and images that you are drawn to and want to use as inspiration. The artist will then work with you to create a look that compliments your vision and style.
We always allot 1.5 hours for the bride's makeup and about 45 minutes for each additional makeup application. This ensures that we have a little wiggle time in case we need to catch up on anything.
Absolutely! A true makeup application done right will will last for hours on end. We use only the best products to prep and prime the skin and eyes for maximum durability. Your makeup will look great all night long!
Yes we can! This is an extra service that can be added to your package for an additional rate.
